Most people don’t need another label. They need a sentence for the thing they keep doing at 11pm — the double text they didn’t send, the argument that starts the same way every time, the week they went quiet and called it “being fine.”
Tracemira is an independent studio. We write short tests that give you that sentence in a few minutes, free, without an account.
Five tests and one two-person quiz, built around the moments that actually cause friction: closeness, distance, repair, mental load, and the stories we tell ourselves about why it happened. Every result page tells you what the pattern looks like in daily life, where it tends to come from, and one thing to try this week — not a horoscope.
1. Read first. We start with the published research behind an idea — attachment theory, mental-load studies, repair research — and write down what it actually claims, including where researchers disagree.
2. Write scenarios, not scales. “Your partner replies ‘k’ after you poured your heart out” measures something “I fear abandonment” cannot reach. Every item is written from scratch, in everyday language.
3. Cut until it’s honest. Each question has to earn its place. Then we read the results out loud and delete anything that sounds like a horoscope. The full ledger — sources reviewed, rewrite rounds, original items per test — is public on Our method.
• No diagnosis. These are self-reflection tools. They are not therapy, not assessment, and not a substitute for a licensed professional. If you are struggling, please talk to one.
• No selling data, no ads. Free results are free. The only paid thing is an optional deep report, one-time, no subscription.
• No borrowed item banks. We cite researchers by name and year. We do not reproduce anyone’s question text, scoring keys, or trademarked type names.
Corrections, complaints, or a pattern you think we got wrong: hello@tracemira.com. We answer within one business day, US Eastern time.
